The St. Cloud Downtown Council (DTC) is a not-for-profit 501(c)4 organization, supported by its members, whose mission is to serve as the effective voice for the concerns and interests of our members, while being the driving force for the economic and aesthetic vitality for Downtown through advocacy with government, public awareness and bringing resources to economic development.
The Downtown Council is dedicated to promoting the downtown area, building a neighborhood downtown, serving as a one-stop shop for information on downtown, and advocating the interests of local businesses and property owners.
CHANGE AGENT
We provide a forum for members to stay abreast of business and political changes that relate to Downtown and to cultivate a consensus for action. We manage the future of some of downtown’s most important issues. And we’re proud to say that we’re highly effective.
Marketing and Promotion Service to enhance the image of Downtown St. Cloud by emphasizing the variety of services, events and amenities available, and by encouraging the public to live, work, play and visit downtown.
Parking and Transportation Services to provide the public with information about parking and public transportation while coordinating with the City and other organizations to develop efficient access to downtown for visitors, residents and employees.
Clean, Safe, and Beautification Services to enhance public perception about downtown, to provide hospitality resources, and to beautify the public space through landscape and streetscape improvements.
Advocacy Services to speak as a voice for downtown businesses, property owners, and other stakeholders on issues of importance to the future Downtown St. Cloud.

This is a Professionals networking organization (and a subgroup of the St. Cloud Downtown Council) for young professionals that is fun, laid back, and has a limited time and monetary commitment.
It is a great opportunity to mingle with other young professionals, build career skills, and learn about the community!

BASICS:
-Annual membership fee: $35
-You can join at any time and attend meetings whether a member or not.
-You dont have to work in Downtown to be a member.
-Members should be between 21 and 35 years old and currently working as a young professional.
Membership PERKS Include a Downtown Discount Card, Included on a network email list, and receive e-newsletters, etc.
MEETING FORMAT:
Starts at 5:00 pm Wednesday evenings at the Veranda Lounge
– Short presentation or roundtable discussion starting at 5:30
– Time for questions, answers and socializing to follow
– Non-members pay $5.00 at the door. Suggest members also give a donation. Money is donated to a pre-selected organization(s).
